Dual Density Protection – Better protection for your rims

After creating the Rimpact Original, the team at Rimpact sat down at the desk again with a mission to create an insert with even better protection. The idea was first to create an insert with higher density all the way through. But when this was tested, the data showed that higher density inserts eventually becomes hard enough to just pass the force into the rims instead of isolating it. The solution was to combine the lower density foam used in Rimpact Original with an outer casing of an extra protective layer. This created a product with better protection than anything else on the market, while maintaining the extremely low weight Rimpact has become famous for.

Energy Sensitive Formula

The outer layer of protection on Rimpact Pro consists of a material that is soft and easy to work with when installing them, but hardens on impact, just like most modern knee and back protectors work. By using a material that gets harder the more severe the impacts are, the Rimpact Pro gives your rims and tires that well needed protection so you can focusing on the fun part, riding your bike!

Fits:

• Suitable for rims with an inner diameter of 23mm – 35mm and tyre widths 2.3″ – 2.6″. It is possible to use the insert with a narrower or wider tyre but it will increase the difficulty of fitting.
